Job Description

  • Coordinate the recruitment process, including screening applications, scheduling interviews, and maintaining candidate records.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure effective talent acquisition strategies.
  • Support onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires into the organisation.
  • Assist in organising training and development programmes to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Maintain and update recruitment and development policies in alignment with company standards.
  • Prepare reports and metrics related to recruitment and employee development activities.
  • Serve as a point of contact for candidates and employees, addressing queries and providing guidance as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations throughout recruitment and development processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Recruiting & Development Coordinator should have:

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in recruitment or human resources within the professional services industry.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A proactive approach and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment and HR software systems.
  • Knowledge of labour laws and practices in recruitment and employee development.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin to support seamless communication in Shanghai.
