Job Description

  1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Develop a comprehensive strategy for the design, construction, and commissioning of the new factory, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
    • Oversee the creation of detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of the factory.
  2. Leadership and Team Development:
    • Build and manage a high-performing team of engineers, automation experts, and project managers.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and safety within the department.
  3. Technology and Automation:
    • Drive the adoption of advanced industrial engineering principles and automation technologies to optimize manufacturing processes.
    • Evaluate and select automation equipment, software systems, and technologies that will maximize productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency.
  4. Stakeholder Management:
    • Serve as the key liaison between internal departments (e.g., Operations, Quality, R&D) and external partners (e.g., contractors, suppliers, consultants) to ensure seamless collaboration and execution.
    • Communicate effectively with senior leadership to provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  5. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure all engineering and automation projects adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and be*st practices.
    • Implement robust quality control systems to guarantee product reliability and customer satisfaction.
  6. Performance Measurement and Improvement:
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of engineering and automation initiatives.
    • Continuously identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 20+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering and automation, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing capital-intensive projects from concept to completion.
  • Deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Expertise in automation technologies, including robotics, control systems, and IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things).
  • Excellent leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is essential;
