Job Description

  • Participate in the strategic planning and execution of the annual media budget, leveraging a scientific marketing mix model to optimize the online-to-offline conversion funnel and maximize ROI while strengthening long-term brand awareness and driving offline traffic and business growth.
  • Dynamically adjust investment allocation between Mass Media and Social Media (Brand-Consideration Mix) based on business objectives and attribution analysis.
  • Manage and optimize media procurement with a refined approach, while establishing KPI/Bonus mechanisms to monitor and evaluate agency performance.
  • Deeply engage in the selection and optimization of offline media placements (e.g., elevator media and premium commercial district billboards), integrating LBS data to improve traffic acquisition efficiency for physical stores through technology-driven solutions.
  • Drive the integration of internal data platforms and media data to quantify the incremental impact of mass media on brand metrics and offline store visits.
  • Regularly track media performance and collaborate with media partners to produce media effectiveness reports, providing insights to optimize future media investment frequency and allocation.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Marketing.
  • 7-8 years of experience in media management, with a background in media strategy at a 4A agency or in-house media management within FMCG, Luxury, or Retail industries.
  • Strong understanding of China's core media landscape and the highly fragmented local media ecosystem (e.g., Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Focus Media), with the ability to balance brand awareness.
  • Hands-on experience managing large-scale media budgets; proficient in mainstream media measurement tools (e.g., Miaozhen, AdMaster) and third-party audit processes, with the ability to clearly demonstrate the causal relationship between media investment and business growth.
  • Experience successfully large-scale media attribution model upgrades or introducing incrementality testing methodologies is a plus.
  • English proficiency sufficient for professional working environments.
