Job Description

  • Responsible for the sales and business development of the company's plastic machinery and related solutions in the China market, with a focus on compounding & pelletizing systems, extrusion equipment, and integrated system solutions.
  • Develop and maintain key customer relationships across industries such as large-scale petrochemicals, advanced chemical materials, and polymers (plastics, rubber, fibers).
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer processes and application needs; collaborate with technical and application teams to deliver tailored techno-commercial solutions.
  • Drive achievement of regional or key industry sales targets, including opportunity management, commercial negotiation, contract execution, and payment collection.
  • Monitor industry and market trends, gather competitor intelligence, and support the formulation of market and sales strategies.
  • Participate in technical discussions, process evaluations, and project bidding with key customers to build long-term partnerships.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in plastic machinery or related industrial equipment; familiarity with compounding & pelletizing systems, extruders, screw systems is preferred.
  • Background in chemical industry sales or technical roles, with understanding of petrochemical processes, polymer processing workflows, and application scenarios.
  • Established customer network or project experience in petrochemical, advanced chemical materials, plastics/rubber/fiber industries.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with technical teams, understand complex process requirements, and translate them into commercial opportunities.
  • Strong business development skills, negotiation capability, and results-driven mindset.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within China and occasionally overseas.
  • Proficiency in both Chinese and English is preferred.
