Job Description

  • Lead the overall supply chain function, including demand planning, material planning, procurement, order management, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and supplier management.
  • Develop and execute long-term supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives, capacity expansion plans, and market demands.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with critical component suppliers, contract manufacturers, and supply chain partners.
  • Drive supplier performance management, risk mitigation, cost optimisation, quality improvement, and supply continuity initiatives.
  • Establish forecasting, planning, and inventory management processes to support business growth while maintaining efficient working capital.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Commercial teams to improve supply chain performance and responsiveness.
  • Lead supply chain digitalisation, process standardisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop contingency plans and risk management strategies to address supply disruptions, capacity constraints, geopolitical risks, and component shortages.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain organisation.
  • Provide executive-level guidance on supply chain strategy, market trends, supplier landscape, and operational capabilities.
  • For candidates with broader operational leadership experience, the scope may be expanded to include Manufacturing and Quality functions.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Extensive leadership experience managing complex supply chain organisations within the semiconductor industry.
  • Strong background in semiconductor equipment manufacturing; experience with semiconductor equipment suppliers is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience overseeing end-to-end supply chain functions, including planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and supplier development.
  • Established relationships with key semiconductor component suppliers and supply chain partners.
  • Strong understanding of customised machining parts, precision components, and supplier engineering processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic supply chain roadmaps supporting business growth and operational resilience.
  • Experience heading large, cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at executive level.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and supplier relationship management capabilities.
  • Analytical, data-driven, and capable of balancing strategic planning with operational execution.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a global business environment.
  • Fluent English communication skills; additional language capabilities are advantageous.
