Job Description Monitor and interpret changes in export control and trade regulations, assess potential business impact, and support implementation of corresponding compliance measures Ensure business practices are aligned with relevant regulatory frameworks, including but not limited to U.S. EAR, EU Dual-Use regulations, and China export control requirements Provide day-to-day guidance on export control topics, offer practical compliance advice, and support escalation handling when necessary Assist in preparation and submission of export license applications (e.g., BIS, BAFA), and coordinate with internal stakeholders to track progress and ensure timely approvals Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., supply chain, logistics, procurement, regulatory, finance, legal, sales) to drive trade compliance initiatives and projects Conduct periodic reviews and audits (e.g., internal audits, dealer stock checks) to identify compliance gaps related to export control and dual-use goods Support development and execution of risk mitigation plans, including post-entry reviews, issue follow-ups, trend analysis, and continuous improvement actions across sites in China Contribute to the strategy and maintenance of AEO certification to facilitate business operations Assist in handling customs audits, investigations, and disclosures, and support the development of response strategies Design and deliver internal training programs related to trade compliance and export control Collaborate on digitalization and automation initiatives to enhance compliance processes, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen control mechanisms The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree or above in International Trade, Logistics, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred) Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in trade compliance or regulatory functions within multinational organizations Solid understanding of global trade compliance requirements, including export controls, sanctions regulations, and customs processes Familiarity with AEO certification, tariff classification (HTS), and customs audit practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a continuous improvement mindset Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional, international environment Proficient in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken) What's on Offer Opportunity to work in a global life science organisation.
