Talent Acquisition Leadership (Core) Build and lead a strong US‑based recruitment function, covering: Retail operations leadership (store managers, regional managers) Corporate functions (operations, merchandising, supply chain, HR, finance) Specialised retail and consumer business roles Develop deep local talent pipelines across the US, particularly in regions with high consumer density Establish relationships with external recruiters, community networks, and industry talent pools Ensure hiring practices are competitive, compliant, and aligned with US labour market realities 2. Global HR Strategy & Governance Act as the senior HR for North America while contributing to global HR strategy Align people strategy with business growth plans, particularly in retail expansion and operational scale‑up Drive consistent but locally appropriate HR policies, frameworks, and governance Support leadership on workforce planning, organisation design, and succession planning 3. US-China Cultural Bridging Serve as a key cultural translator between US and China leadership teams Help leadership teams understand differences in: Decision‑making styles Employment practices Employee expectations and engagement drivers Provide practical advice to reduce friction and improve trust across regions 4. Leadership & Stakeholder Management Partner closely with senior executives across operations, merchandising, and support functions Coach line managers on people management in a US retail context Act as a trusted advisor on sensitive people issues, change management, and organisational effectiveness 5.
