Job Description

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Head of School's office, ensuring smooth administrative processes.
  • Provide executive-level support to the Head of School, including managing schedules and correspondence.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements for senior leadership.
  • Prepare and review documents, presentations, and reports with a high level of accuracy.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications for the Head of School.
  • Maintain confidential records and manage sensitive information with discretion.
  • Support cross-departmental projects and initiatives as required.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures in all administrative tasks.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of School Office Manager and Executive Assistant should have:

  • A strong background in secretarial and business support roles, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Proficiency in office software and tools, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Experience coordinating schedules, meetings, and events for senior leaders.
