Job Description

Brand & Innovation Leadership

  • Own long-range brand and innovation strategy, translating consumer and market insight into differentiated product and portfolio choices
  • Lead end-to-end innovation development (0-1 and pipeline scaling), including business case rigor, competitive assessment, channel fit, and regulatory feasibility
  • Balance breakthrough innovation with core portfolio optimization to ensure long-term brand vitality
  • Act as brand steward, ensuring consistency, credibility, and trust across touchpoints



Commercial & P&L Ownership

  • Full accountability for marketing-driven growth levers within the China P&L, including revenue, gross margin, and marketing ROI
  • Partner with Sales and Finance to shape pricing, promo effectiveness, and profitability by channel
  • Own marketing investment strategy across brand-building, performance, and trade, with a disciplined, data-led allocation mindset
  • Use performance metrics (sell-in, sell-out, GMV, margin, ROI) to drive decision-making and course correction



Cross-Functional & People Leadership

  • Serve as a core member of the China leadership team, representing the consumer and brand in strategic decisions
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing team with clear accountability and growth mindset
  • Influence across a complex, multinational matrix, aligning local execution with global intent

The Successful Applicant

What You Bring

  • 15 years of senior marketing experience with proven brand innovation leadership in China
  • Demonstrated ownership of commercial results and P&L impact, not just communications
  • Strong track record in both building brands from early stage and scaling them profitably
  • Experience in digital-first, social commerce, or performance-driven environments
  • High financial acumen and comfort operating with senior commercial stakeholders
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
