We are seeking an experienced Lead Hardware & Edge Device Architect to drive the development of Industrial IoT sensing and monitoring products. The position will be responsible for system architecture definition, product development, cross-functional execution, and technical leadership throughout the product lifecycle.

Our client is a global provider of elevators, escalators, and smart building mobility solutions.

Job Description

  • Lead Industrial IoT system and sensing product development from concept through mass production.
  • Define system architecture across sensor nodes, embedded platforms, connectivity, gateways, and cloud integration.
  • Translate customer and market requirements into product specifications and technical solutions.
  • Drive integration across hardware, firmware, communication modules, and cloud platforms.
  • Develop and integrate vibration, acoustic/noise, and industrial sensing technologies.
  • Lead product validation activities including EVT, DVT, PVT, reliability, and certification testing.
  • Support manufacturing transfer and product industrialization.
  • Serve as the technical owner and drive issue resolution across cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in system integration, debugging, and technical problem solving as needed.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electronics, Automation, Instrumentation, or related disciplines.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial electronics, Industrial IoT, or embedded systems development.
  • Proven track record delivering products from design through mass production.
  • Strong system architecture and design capabilities.
  • Experience in predictive maintenance and machine condition monitoring.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as RS485, Modbus, and Industrial Ethernet.
  • Understanding of edge computing, industrial gateways, and cloud connectivity.
  • Hands-on experience with vibration, current, voltage, acoustic, and other industrial sensing technologies.
