Job Description Key Responsibilities Act as the primary customer interface for Hyundai & Kia, representing our global engineering and manufacturing capabilities. Build and maintain multi‑level relationships across engineering, D&R, purchasing, SQ, and program functions. Identify new business opportunities aligned with customer platform cycles, future technologies, and our portfolio roadmap. Develop account strategies and long‑term opportunity pipelines. RFQ & Commercial Ownership Lead end‑to‑end RFQ execution including requirements clarification, cost modeling, technical alignment, profitability analysis, and cross‑functional coordination. Drive commercial negotiations covering price, terms, ECR/ECO changes, volume planning, PPAP timing, and cost‑reduction initiatives. Prepare and deliver winning commercial proposals and quotation packages. Technical Sales & Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner with global engineering teams to develop technical proposals, feasibility analysis, and manufacturability assessments. Lead preparation and delivery of technical review presentations for new business and ongoing mass production. Coordinate engineering discussions, issue resolution, validation milestones (DV/PV), and technical documentation requirements. Program / Production Support Support key milestones throughout development and launch: prototype builds, PPAP/PSW submissions, APQP milestones, tooling readiness, and ramp‑up. Act as the first point of contact for customer escalations related to quality, supply, and engineering changes. Work closely with global plants to ensure schedule adherence and strong operational performance. Strategic & Reporting Responsibilities Provide competitive insights, pricing benchmarks, and customer strategy updates to global leadership. Maintain accurate forecasts for revenue, margin, and order intake. Contribute to internal business strategy and product direction based on customer and market feedback. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Industrial Engineering or related technical field. 5+ years automotive industry experience in technical sales, OEM account management, or project acquisition at a Tier‑1 or advanced Tier‑2 supplier. Strong understanding of Hyundai & Kia engineering, purchasing, and development processes. Solid knowledge of core automotive engineering/quality methods: GD&T, APQP, PPAP/PSW, DFMEA, QOS, etc. Demonstrated ability to lead commercial negotiations and manage complex development cycles. High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). CAD literacy is a plus. Excellent bilingual communication: strong English for global coordination. Ability to travel domestically to Hyundai/Kia sites and internationally to engineering/manufacturing locations.
