Job Description ***Key Responsibilities***Payroll Processing: Manage and process payroll for all APAC locations, ensuring accuracy and timely payment of salaries and wages. Handle deductions, taxes, and other payroll-related calculations in compliance with local laws and regulations.Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with the payroll legislation and regulations across APAC countries. Ensure all payroll processes adhere to local and international compliance standards.System Management: Maintain and update payroll systems and software to reflect changes in legislation and company policies. Troubleshoot and resolve payroll system issues.Reporting and Analytics: Generate and analyze payroll reports to identify trends and areas for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations based on payroll data to support business decisions.Communication and Coordination: Liaise with HR, finance, and management teams to ensure seamless payroll operations. Communicate effectively with employees regarding payroll inquiries and concerns.Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and local Japan language, both written and spoken, as the working languages of the role. The Successful Applicant ***Qualifications***Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years' experience in payroll management, with a focus on APAC regions.Strong knowledge of payroll regulations in APAC countries.Proficiency in payroll software and systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
