About Our Client

Our client, an international automation-focused manufacturing company, is seeking a senior commercial professional to oversee sales strategy, commercial development and team management across China. This role will shape market presence in multiple industrial sectors and drive commercial growth through both direct and channel-based approaches.

Job Description

  • Oversee national sales operations with responsibility for a team of 20+ sales professionals.
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies across assigned industrial markets, ensuring alignment with global business objectives.
  • Strengthen business performance through structured account planning, solution positioning and opportunity management.
  • Build strong and sustainable partnerships with distributors, system integrators and channel partners.
  • Engage and negotiate with major customers across off‑highway, aerospace, furniture, solar, lithium‑battery, food & beverage, and packaging sectors.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product and global commercial teams to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitive movements and emerging opportunities to support long‑term business development.



The Successful Applicant

  • Solid background in industrial automation, motion control, robotics, factory automation, or related advanced manufacturing technologies.
  • Proven capability in managing large sales organizations(20+ people) with clear structure, process and performance management.
  • Strong experience in key account management and channel development with measurable commercial achievements.
  • Familiar with project‑based selling, complex solutions, and multi‑stakeholder environments in industrial settings.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with regional and global teams, with strong customer‑facing skills.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, commercial acumen and capability to drive consistent execution.
