Job Description

Shape Global Strategy & Market Positioning

  • Define and lead a cohesive global marketing strategy aligned with long-term business priorities
  • Build a compelling brand platform and narrative that differentiates across competitive scientific markets
  • Identify and prioritize global growth opportunities, including expansion into emerging markets
  • Drive integrated strategies across product portfolios and solution offerings, ensuring alignment with high-growth areas in drug development and advanced therapeutics



Build Influence & Industry Ecosystems

  • Develop strong relationships with senior industry stakeholders including scientific experts, strategic partners, and key institutions
  • Drive high-impact collaborations and co-marketing initiatives with external organizations (e.g., academic groups, CROs, and industry alliances)
  • Elevate company visibility through presence at global scientific conferences, forums, and industry platforms
  • Position the organization as a trusted partner and industry authority within the global life sciences community



Lead a High-Performance Global Marketing Organization

  • Build and lead a distributed, high-performing global marketing team across regions and functions
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous capability development
  • Partner cross-functionally with R&D, commercial, and business leadership to align strategy and execution
  • Develop next-generation marketing leaders with strong scientific understanding and business acumen



Drive Demand & Commercial Impact

  • Own global demand generation strategy and marketing-driven pipeline growth
  • Oversee multi-channel campaigns and ensure strong execution across regions
  • Optimize the full customer journey-from awareness to conversion-focused on measurable outcomes
  • Lead strategic, account-focused marketing initiatives targeting major global biopharma customers



Deliver Operational Excellence

  • Manage global marketing investments, ensuring effective allocation and ROI
  • Enhance marketing operations through scalable systems, tools, and data-driven processes
  • Oversee digital ecosystem performance, including website, content, and customer experience
  • Establish clear performance metrics and regularly communicate progress, insights, and opportunities to senior leadership

The Successful Applicant

Experience

  • Extensive experience (typically 15+ years) in senior marketing roles within life sciences, healthcare, or other complex B2B industries
  • Proven leadership experience across global or multi-regional marketing organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to scale marketing impact in fast-evolving, innovation-driven environments



Industry Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of the biopharmaceutical landscape, including research, development, and manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with advanced therapeutic modalities and cutting-edge technologies is highly valued



Track Record

  • History of delivering measurable business growth through strategic marketing initiatives
  • Experience strengthening brand positioning and expanding market presence globally
  • Success in building marketing organizations that directly contribute to commercial outcomes



Education

  • Advanced degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., life sciences, biotechnology, or related field)
  • Additional business education or MBA is an advantage
