About Our Client This is a China headquarters finance BP role, covering end-to-end finance functions including accounting, reporting, and financial review, acting as a key bridge between headquarters and subsidiaries, and requiring strong spoken English skills. Job Description Oversee finance and accounting operations for 7 PRC locations, including banking, reporting, and fund remittance. Assist the China Managing Director on daily business and financial management matters. Review GL, AP/AR and drive internal control and compliance processes. Monthly reporting of financial performance to Agency management/Group Finance. Prepare monthly and year-end closing, management reporting, and assist statutory and IFRS audits. Ensure timely tax filing, local file preparation, and regulatory compliance across all offices. Ensure corporate compliance and regulatory standards at each of the departments/sections/offices of the Company in coordination with Branch Managers. Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by China MD and regional/group finance. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Accounting Minimum 10 years' experience in Accounting/Audit with at least 5 years in a Managerial Accounting role Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Shipping industry knowledge and working experience is mandatory. Accounting system implementation experience is a plus.
