The Regional Sales Manager - APAC will be responsible for driving business growth across Southeast Asia, with additional coverage of ANZ markets. This role focuses on direct sales of high-value industrial equipment, building long-term customer relationships, and developing new market opportunities through value-based selling.

Job Description

  • Develop and execute direct sales strategies to grow revenue across Southeast Asia markets
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers and end users, building long-term strategic relationships
  • Drive the full sales cycle, including opportunity identification, technical discussions, commercial negotiation, and order closure
  • Work closely with global and regional internal teams (sales, application, service) to deliver customer-focused solutions
  • Build market presence through customer visits, industry networking, and channel collaboration where appropriate
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting
  • Support existing customers while actively developing new business opportunities in target industries

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong English communication skills (spoken and written); English is the primary working language
  • Proven experience in direct sales of industrial equipment or high-value machinery
  • Demonstrated ability to learn complex products and applications
  • Strong resilience, self-motivation, and ability to work independently in developing markets
  • Willingness to travel frequently across APAC
  • Experience covering overseas or regional markets (SEA / APAC / international customers)
  • Background in industrial equipment, process equipment, or capital machinery sales
  • Experience with value-based / solution selling rather than price-driven sales
  • Comfortable working in a multinational, matrix organization
