Build and manage a high-performing compliance team to support the company's expanding international business. Advise senior management on U.S. and international regulatory developments and associated compliance risks. Lead trade compliance initiatives, including export controls, sanctions compliance, customs compliance and related risk management programs. Oversee U.S. regulatory compliance matters relating to international business operations and strategic initiatives. Develop and implement data compliance and privacy frameworks to support overseas operations. Conduct compliance risk assessments, internal investigations and remediation programs where necessary. Partner closely with business lea/ders, legal teams and external advisors to manage regulatory and compliance issues across multiple jurisdictions. Deliver compliance training, enhance compliance awareness and strengthen the company's culture of integrity. Qualified lawyer with active bar admission in any U.S. state. Strong in-house experience supporting multinational business operations and complex compliance programs. Proven track record of lea/ding compliance functions and building or managing compliance teams. Deep expertise in U.S.-related compliance matters, including trade compliance, export controls, sanctions, regulatory compliance and data privacy. Strong understanding of global regulatory environments and cross-border risk management. Commercially minded lea/der with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal; Mandarin capability is highly preferred.
