Job Description

1. Supply Chain Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and execute regional supply chain strategies aligned with global business objectives.
  • Develop long-term sourcing and supply network strategies to support growth, agility, cost competitiveness, and risk mitigation.
  • manage continuous improvement initiatives across the end-to-end supply chain.
  • Establish annual operational roadmaps, KPIs, and performance targets across sourcing and supply chain functions.
  • Build and develop high-performing regional supply chain teams.
  • Serve as the key supply chain representative for global leadership and regional stakeholders.



2. Sourcing & Supplier Management

  • Develop and manage strategic supplier partnerships across apparel, textile, trims, and accessories categories.
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities, capacities, cost competitiveness, innovation capabilities, quality performance, and sustainability compliance.
  • Drive supplier rationalization and sourcing diversification strategies.
  • Manage supplier selection, onboarding, business allocation, and performance management processes.
  • Establish supplier scorecards and conduct regular business reviews.
  • Drive supplier capability-building programs to improve quality, speed, flexibility, and innovation.



3. Product Development & Commercialization

  • Oversee regional product development execution aligned with global product briefs and seasonal launch calendars.
  • Ensure smooth transition from product development to commercialization and bulk production.
  • Manage cross-functional collaboration among Product Development, Merchandising, Sourcing, and Manufacturing teams.
  • Ensure development activities meet target cost, quality standards, and launch timelines.
  • Drive innovation through new fabrics, materials, technologies, and sustainable solutions.



4. Planning & Inventory Management

  • Manage integrated demand and supply planning processes.
  • Partner with Commercial and Planning teams to ensure accurate forecasting and capacity planning.
  • Optimize inventory levels while maintaining service performance targets.
  • Develop capacity allocation strategies across suppliers and production facilities.
  • Improve forecasting accuracy, inventory turns, and supply responsiveness.



5. Cost Management & Productivity Improvement

  • Own regional supply chain cost management strategies.
  • Manage annual cost-saving programs and productivity initiatives.
  • Conduct cost analysis across raw materials, labor, logistics, and manufacturing operations.
  • Drive competitive pricing negotiations with suppliers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce total landed costs.
  • Monitor market trends and commodity fluctuations to support sourcing decisions.



6. Manufacturing & Operational Excellence

  • Oversee manufacturing readiness and execution across the supplier network.
  • Ensure production plans are aligned with business requirements and customer commitments.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence initiatives.
  • Improve productivity, capacity utilization, quality performance, and on-time delivery.
  • Support strategic manufacturing footprint decisions and supplier development programs.



7. Quality, Compliance & Sustainability

  • Ensure all suppliers comply with company quality standards, regulatory requirements, and sustainability policies.
  • Manage risk assessments and corrective action programs across suppliers and production sites.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Sustainability teams to strengthen product integrity and responsible sourcing practices.
  • Drive environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives throughout the supply chain.
  • Ensure compliance with global sourcing regulations and industry standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • 15+ years of experience in global sourcing, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, or operations leadership.
  • Minimum 5 years in senior leadership roles managing regional or global supply chain operations.
  • Strong experience in apparel, textile, footwear, consumer goods, retail, or related manufacturing industries.
  • Proven track record supplier networks across Asia.
  • Extensive experience in sourcing strategy, cost optimization, planning, logistics, and supplier development.
  • Strong understanding of sustainability, compliance, quality systems, and global supply chain regulations.
  • Fluent English communication skills with demonstrated experience working in multinational environments.
