Job Description

  • Oversee and manage the entire Profit & Loss statement, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate closely with business units to understand their operational needs, challenges, and growth opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis, including variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
  • Provide strategic financial recommendations to support business strategies, initiatives, and investments.
  • Monitor factory operations and cost structures, identifying efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are financially viable and aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Lead financial due diligence for potential investments, acquisitions, or partnerships.

The Successful Applicant

  1. Industry Background: Proven experience in the manufacturing sector, preferably within industries such as automotive, general manufacturing, or chemicals.
  2. Factory Operations Knowledge: A solid understanding of factory operations, production processes, and supply chain management. Familiarity with manufacturing cost components and cost control mechanisms is essential.
  3. Financial Proficiency: Expertise in financial analysis, including but not limited to P&L analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Proficiency in using financial modeling tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, SAP) is required.
  4. Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, draw actionable insights, and communicate these insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  5. Business Acumen: A strategic thinker with the ability to align financial strategies with business objectives, demonstrating a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
  6. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across departments and at various levels of the organization.
  7. Education: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
