Job Description 1. Technology Development & Product Innovation Define and execute R&D strategies to enhance rechargeable battery products and processes Manage new product introduction (NPI) from concept to mass production Explore and implement innovations across battery chemistries (e.g., NiMH, NiZn, Lithium-based systems) 2. Technology Roadmap Ownership Establish and drive mid-to-long-term battery technology roadmap aligned with business strategy Translate customer needs and market trends into actionable development priorities Continuously monitor industry trends to identify new opportunities and enhancements 3. Customer & External Engagement Act as key technical interface with customers, managing technical discussions and solution design Pre-sales, technical proposals, and customer qualification activities Build relationships with external partners, research institutes, and industry stakeholders 4. Cross-functional & Manufacturing management Work closely with manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams to accelerate product commercialisation Drive process optimisation, and technical problem-solving Scale-up and industrialisation from development stage to mass production 5.
