Job Description

  • Develop the global merchandise planning function across all sales channels.
  • Support and execute channel-specific assortment strategies to maximize commercial performance.
  • Drive SKU productivity and optimise product mix across regions and customer segments.
  • Own AI-enhanced demand forecasting and supply planning processes.
  • Translate business trends, historical data, and sales insights into actionable plans.
  • Establish inventory strategies that balance growth, profitability, and customer demand.
  • Manage product lifecycle planning from new product launches through core assortment management.
  • Develop allocation and replenishment strategies across global distribution networks.
  • Optimise inventory positioning to improve product availability and operational efficiency.
  • Own and govern the Open-to-Buy (OTB) process and investment decisions.
  • Monitor sell-through performance, inventory turns, and stock health metrics.
  • Partner closely with commercial, supply chain, marketing, and product teams.
  • Build reporting frameworks and leverage business intelligence tools to support decision-making.
  • Drive and develop a high-performing planning team.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in merchandise planning, buying, category management, or commercial planning.
  • Proven track record within an international fashion, lifestyle, retail, or consumer brand environment.
  • Strong expertise in forecasting, inventory management, and assortment planning.
  • Experience managing Open-to-Buy (OTB) frameworks and commercial planning processes.
  • Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with ERP systems and planning tools.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience managing cross-functional and international teams.
  • Capable of operating effectively in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
  • Hands-on leadership style with a collaborative approach.
  • Comfortable leveraging data and technology to improve decision-making.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
