Job Description

1. Brand and Category

  • Category strategy development by translating customer and market insights into clear "Where to Play" and "How to Win" choices
  • Build segment-specific category plans by market trends, drivers, and insight.
  • Align priorities across repainting, new industry, and commercial segments

2. Innovation & Segment Solutions

  • Develop and implement portfolio roadmaps with clear business cases for new products, solutions, and BD toolkits
  • Manage innovation pipeline in alignment with business priorities and Stage Gate processes
  • Create segment-specific solution packages with compelling value propositions by case studies and demonstrations
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to continuously enhance offering pricing, supply, and performance



3. Brand Stewardship, Communications & Equity Growth

  • Translate innovation roadmap into clear communication strategies and asset development (e.g., videos, solution packs, BD materials)
  • Coordinate asset development end-to-end, including briefing, content creation, and deployment
  • Develop activation toolkits tailored to targeted segments and value propositions
  • Work closely with Digital, Marcom, and PR teams to increase customer engagement and strengthen market visibility with efficient ROI



4. Project Delivery with Sales

  • Act as a central coordination point across teams to ensure timely delivery of key projects
  • Improve processes to accelerate project execution and enhance delivery efficiency
  • Track and evaluate segment performance across growth, profitability, margin, market information, and customer metrics
  • Contribute to industry influence through thought management team content and sales enablement material

The Successful Applicant

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields



Experience

  • Solid experience in project marketing, category management, or related functional areas
  • Background in coatings, flooring, or building materials industries is advantageous



Capability & Working Style

  • Strong ability to partner with cross-functional and cross-country stakeholders, including external agencies
  • Proactive and results-oriented, comfortable working in evolving environments
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational capability
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills



Business Acumen

  • Good insight of commercial drivers and customer needs
  • Strong ability to interpret market data and derive actionable insights
  • Balanced approach combining creativity and strategic thinking in product and portfolio management
