***Key Responsibilities***

Payroll Processing: Manage and process payroll for all APAC locations, ensuring accuracy and timely payment of salaries and wages. Handle deductions, taxes, and other payroll-related calculations in compliance with local laws and regulations.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with the payroll legislation and regulations across APAC countries. Ensure all payroll processes adhere to local and international compliance standards.

System Management: Maintain and update payroll systems and software to reflect changes in legislation and company policies. Troubleshoot and resolve payroll system issues.

Reporting and Analytics: Generate and analyze payroll reports to identify trends and areas for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations based on payroll data to support business decisions.

Communication and Coordination: Liaise with HR, finance, and management teams to ensure seamless payroll operations. Communicate effectively with employees regarding payroll inquiries and concerns.

Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and local Japan language, both written and spoken, as the working languages of the role.

***Qualifications***

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years' experience in payroll management, with a focus on APAC regions.

Strong knowledge of payroll regulations in APAC countries.

Proficiency in payroll software and systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
