My client is an international PV and smart energy total solution provider. 3 years ago, they became a PV product, PV system and smart energy company listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange Science and Technology Innovation Board. Today, they are actively accelerating its pace of globalization and the development of its global management team.

Job Description

  • Investigate and collect regional market dynamics, customer needs, and market demands, including regional segment analysis, customer distribution, trends, and long-term and short-term demand trends of products. Provide feedback and recommendations based on the findings.
  • Conduct regular analysis of regional competitors, including identifying competitors, analyzing their product strategies, and evaluating competitive information such as competitors' sales scale, price, and product performance advantages in the region.
  • Communicate and provide feedback to the HQ Product Manager, lead the regional product managers to understand the development progress, supply capacity, capacity upgrades, certification progress of each new product, and promptly relay the information to the regional sales team.
  • Analyze the overall capacity structure, product strategy of the headquarters, and regional market dynamics to develop regional product strategies, enhancing the regional competitiveness of Trina Storage products.
  • Support the launch of new products in the regional market.
  • Lead the pre-sales team to collaborate with the management team in developing comprehensive technical solutions for clients. Work cross-functionally with the sales, project management, and installation teams to ensure clients' needs and internal deadlines are met.
  • Provide technical guidance to the Energe Storage's Solution Team, responsible for exploring and evaluating potential new technologies and methods to capture new markets in the solar industry."

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in electrical or electronic engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the energy storage industry, specifically within the APAC market.
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese to effectively communicate with Chinese counterparties.
  • Product and/or full-process project background within the energy storage business in APAC.
  • Strong knowledge of international business environment, operations and practices.
  • Experience in setting up and managing team.
  • Extensive experience in PCS (Power Conversion System), Lithium battery, and storage system integration.
  • Well-established network of relationships with stakeholders in the energy storage industry.
  • Proactive, straightforward, results-oriented, hardworking, and passionate about taking on new challenges.
  • Willingness to travel within the APAC region.
