Job Description About the Role We are seeking a strategic and results-driven E-commerce Director to manage and scale our e-commerce business in China. This role will serve as the overall owner of e-commerce strategy and P&L, responsible for driving channel integration, accelerating growth, and building a seamless omni-channel ecosystem. Key Responsibilities E-commerce Strategy & Integration Define and execute a 3-5 year e-commerce strategy aligned with overall business objectives Integrate fragmented online channels (direct-to-consumer and distributor network) into a unified framework Establish and scale official flagship stores across major platforms (e.g., Tmall, JD) with differentiated strategies Channel Management & Governance Develop and implement pricing, promotion, and assortment strategies across online channels Manage and enable distributors' online operations while ensuring compliance with brand standards Design and enforce mechanisms to minimize channel conflict and maximize synergy Platform Operations & Business Growth Oversee end-to-end operations and performance of key e-commerce platforms Drive core metrics such as GMV, conversion rate, repeat purchase, and customer lifetime value Optimize flagship store operations and enhance user experience Traffic Ecosystem &O2O Integration Leverage content and social platforms (e.g., Douyin, Xiaohongshu, WeChat) to drive traffic and engagement Build a full-funnel O2O model, connecting online acquisition with offline conversion Partner with marketing teams to execute integrated digital campaigns Data-Driven Decision Making Establish a robust analytics framework to support business planning and performance tracking Transition from descriptive reporting to predictive and actionable insights Continuously optimize channel mix, product strategy, and marketing effectiveness Cross-functional Management Collaborate closely with retail, sales, and marketing teams to enable omni-channel integration Navigate a complex matrix environment and align diverse stakeholders to deliver results The Successful Applicant Requirements Experience: 12+ years of experience in e-commerce or digital commerce, with at least 5 years in a team head role. Proven track record managing complex e-commerce ecosystems (platforms, distributors, and digital channels). Experience in large-scale transformation or channel integration is highly preferred. Industry Background: Experience across both FMCG and durable/high-consideration products is strongly preferred. Background in consumer electronics, healthcare, or premium consumer sectors is a plus. Core Competencies: Strong P&L ownership and commercial acumen. Excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities. Proven ability to manage complexity and influence cross-functional stakeholders. Execution-oriented with the ability to drive results in a fast-changing environment.
