Our client is a premium consumer brand headquartered in London, with products sold through retail and e-commerce channels worldwide. As the business continues to expand its presence in China, it is investing in local capabilities and seeking a procurement professional to establish and develop its China Indirect Procurement function.

职责描述

Establish and develop the China Indirect Procurement function.
Manage indirect spend categories such as Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media, IT, Professional Services, Travel and General Corporate Services.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and deliver cost-effective sourcing solutions.
Drive supplier selection, commercial negotiations, contract management and performance evaluation.
Collaborate with global procurement teams to align local sourcing activities with company standards.
Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, compliance and value creation across the organisation.
Support the implementation of procurement tools, systems and reporting mechanisms.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure successful project execution and service delivery.
Contribute to the growth and development of the procurement function, with future responsibility for managing and developing a local team.

理想的求职者

A successful China Procurement Manager should have:

8+ years of procurement experience, preferably within a multinational environment.
Experience supporting a fast-growing business with diverse stakeholder groups.
Strong commercial acumen and a pragmatic approach to balancing business objectives with procurement value creation.
Proven ability to work independently and drive initiatives in an evolving organisational environment.
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility across all levels of the organisation.
Comfortable working in a hands-on role while contributing to longer-term organisational development.
Proactive and able to thrive in a build-from-scratch environment.
Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
Bachelor's degree or above, prior experience in consumer goods, retail, lifestyle, FMCG or other commercially driven industries would be advantageous.
