We are partnering with a global industrial solutions provider to appoint a Head of Business Development - Advanced Manufacturing in China.This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of a sizeable business, focused on driving growth across key semiconductor and high-tech manufacturing accounts, while scaling a nationwide commercial team.

Job Description

  • Define and execute the commercial strategy for advanced manufacturing sectors in China
  • Lead and develop strategic relationships with major clients across semiconductor and mission-critical manufacturing environments
  • Take full ownership of a ~RMB 100M+ business, driving sustainable growth and profitability
  • Build, lead, and coach a ~20-member sales organization across regions
  • Drive key account penetration and long-term partnership development with up industry players
  • Identify new growth opportunities across emerging high-tech manufacturing segments
  • Partner closely with regional and global stakeholders to deliver integrated, solution-based offerings
  • Strengthen the company's positioning within the high-tech manufacturing ecosystem



The Successful Applicant

  • Solid experience in senior commercial / business leadership roles within:
    • Semiconductor
    • Advanced manufacturing
    • High-tech B2B solution environments
  • Proven track record managing large-scale key accounts and complex sales cycles
  • Experience of managing mid-to-large sized teams
  • Strong commercial mindset with ownership of significant revenue scope
  • Deep understanding of China's high-tech manufacturing landscape, especially semiconductor-related ecosystems
  • Comfortable operating within a matrix, multinational environment
