Job Description

  • Act as a trusted finance partner to R&D and other business functions, providing insights to support strategic and operational decisions
  • Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning, ensuring alignment with business priorities
  • Perform financial analysis and KPI tracking, including variance analysis and actionable recommendations to management
  • Support pipeline projects, clinical development, and strategic initiatives through robust financial modeling and scenario analysis
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports, highlighting performance, risks, and opportunities
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on investor-related activities, including financial analysis, presentations, and support for fundraising or strategic transactions
  • Drive process improvement and digital transformation in financial planning and reporting (e.g., automation, BI tools)
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements, supporting audits as needed

The Successful Applicant

* Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.

* Minimum 8 years of progressive FP&A or financial management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.

* Prior experience in a listed pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare company is strongly preferred.

* Proven track record of supporting R&D, clinical development, and/or product commercialization from a finance perspective.

* Solid understanding of financial reporting, HKEX disclosure, and capital market requirements.

* Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; capable of interacting effectively with C-suite executives, Board members, and external stakeholders.

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

* High integrity, strong business acumen, and a results-driven mindset
