We are looking for an accountant, who will actively participate in the local IFRS17 Ledger Closing and reporting, to resolve various financial issues during transition period. **The role starts with a 12-month 3rd party contract. Immediately Available candidates are preferred. Job Description * Support IFRS17 transition by resolving financial issues and ensuring accurate opening balances* Perform month-end closing and ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting* Conduct reconciliations between systems (e.g., Omega vs SAP), investigate discrepancies, and prepare adjustment entries* Prepare and submit regulatory and management reports, including analysis of variances and abnormal items* Support IFRS17-related activities, including data preparation, project involvement, and audit participation The Successful Applicant * 3+ years of accounting experience or auditing experience in insurance/reinsurance companies* Familiarity with IFRS17 and SAP is preferred* Strong Excel skills, good English proficiency, and effective communication abilities* Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a high sense of responsibility* Ability to work under pressure, learn quickly, and collaborate well within a team.
