Job Description Lead full-cycle motor product development, including electromagnetic design, system analysis, performance testing, and product optimization. Drive project execution across design, testing, and engineering functions, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of technical solutions. Establish and implement testing protocols, ensuring product reliability and performance standards are met. Engage with customers early in the development process, translating technical requirements into tailored motor design solutions and influencing product direction. Monitor industry trends and guide technology strategy, supporting innovation and long-term product planning. Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams, ensuring smooth transition from design to production. Foster a high-performing engineering culture, supporting professional development and effective project management within the team. The Successful Applicant Technical Expertise: Solid foundation in motor design, particularly in electromagnetic design for permanent magnet synchronous and asynchronous induction motors. Strong understanding of system-level analysis and product testing protocols. Industry Experience: Proven track record in motor R&D or application engineering, ideally within HVAC, refrigeration, or cold chain sectors. Experience working with OEM customers and participating in early-stage product definition is highly valued. Leadership & Management: Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, manage project timelines, and drive technical execution. Skilled in mentoring engineers and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture. Customer Orientation: Comfortable engaging with customers during product development, with the ability to translate market needs into technical solutions. Strong awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies. Strategic Thinking: Capable of guiding pre-research efforts and identifying opportunities for product innovation and differentiation. Not just a technical expert, but a strategic partner in shaping product direction. Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
