Job Description Initiate Early Stage Research: Direct and oversee early-stage research projects focused on AI and sensor technologies, ensuring alignment with company vision and market demands. Market Trend Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of industry trends, emerging technologies, and consumer behaviors to identify opportunities for innovation. Competitive Intelligence: Perform competitor analysis, monitoring advancements in rival products and technologies to maintain our competitive edge. Supply Chain Cost Management: Collaborate with supply chain teams to understand and optimize costs associated with new component development and integration. Capacity Planning: Forecast and assess internal manufacturing capabilities, ensuring scalability and efficiency in transitioning from R&D to production. Team Leadership: Build and mentor a dynamic R&D team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning. Project Management: Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables for multiple research projects, ensuring timely milestones and quality outputs. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with senior management, stakeholders, and external partners to communicate progress, gather insights, and secure resources. The Successful Applicant Ph.D degree in AI, sensor technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. Study in AI and sensor technology is preferred. Especially excellent candidate can be relaxed master's degree. Over 10 years of R&D experience in the Manufacturing industry or related fields, with at least 5 years of experience in pre-development management. Experienced in Home Appliance industry is preferred Fluent in English for speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
