Due to China business expansion, looking for strong Portfolio Director to join and grow the business together. Job Description Work closely with the General Manager to formulate and execute the business plan Oversee the event teams towards the execution of identified events in the portfolio, ensure all events are delivered on time, within budget and to the high quality standards Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, sponsors and partners, to strengthen and grow event portfolio Report in to HQ (Singapore) to ensure alignment of strategy, plans and budgets Drive implementation and adoption of good practices/enterprise systems, for efficiency and good governance/control The Successful Applicant Minimum of 10 years of experience in the B2B Events industry, with a proven track record of success in managing portfolios of events. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams to deliver exceptional results. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner. Proven ability to develop and implement successful event strategies. Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and revenue targets. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
