With an established R&D organisation in China and close collaboration with overseas R&D teams, the company continues to strengthen its local innovation capability and develop products tailored to the needs of Chinese consumers. 职责描述 External Development & Manufacturing Partnership Work closely with external manufacturers and internal operations teams to develop subcontracted products, assessing technical feasibility and compliance requirements throughout the development process. Serve as a key technical partner to external manufacturers, providing formulation direction, troubleshooting support and technical recommendations throughout product development. Coordinate external and internal resources to ensure technical deliverables are aligned with project requirements and launch plans. End-to-End Project Management Coordinate technical product development activities across both Global and China multiple R&D functions, including pilot, analytical, microbiology, raw materials, regulatory, safety and packaging, ensuring alignment on cost, timing and quality objectives. Collaborate closely with overseas project managers and technical experts to communicate project progress, identify potential risks and maintain alignment across China and global teams. Identify project risks and technical roadblocks, develop action plans with relevant stakeholders, and follow through on implementation. Manage multiple development projects in parallel while balancing technical feasibility, business priorities and project timelines. Formulation & Product Development Lead formulation development for China innovation projects across different brands and categories, ensuring formulas meet project requirements, quality standards, cost targets and launch timelines. Translate consumer needs and product concepts into feasible formulation solutions, and clearly communicate technical choices and recommendations to project stakeholders. Explore new raw materials, technologies and textures together with suppliers; develop prototypes and conduct preliminary testing in accordance with brand strategy and project priorities. Anticipate formulation challenges and work proactively with relevant functions to troubleshoot technical issues and develop practical solutions. Apply formulation science, ingredient chemistry and relevant consumer and dermatology insights to identify product innovation opportunities. 理想的求职者 Bachelor's degree or above in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Pharmacy or a related scientific discipline. 8+ years of experience in cosmetic formulation and product development, with rich hands-on experience in end-to-end external/open development (third-party manufacturing) models. Strong technical background in formulation development, with the ability to design experiments and resolve complex formulation issues. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple product development projects and collaborate effectively across different technical and business functions. Good understanding of cosmetic regulations in China. Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across different functions and geographies.
