As the business continues to expand across China and the Asia-Pacific region, the company is seeking a commercially minded legal professional to join its growing team. Job Description Commercial & Corporate Legal Support Provide legal guidance for day-to-day business activities across China; Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements and legal documents; Support corporate governance, entity management and regulatory compliance activities; Advise management on legal risks and business decisions. Intellectual Property Support Assist with the management and protection of the company's intellectual property portfolio; Coordinate with external counsel on registration, maintenance and enforcement activities; Support investigations and disputes involving intellectual property rights; Provide practical IP-related guidance to business stakeholders. Dispute Resolution & Regulatory Affairs Manage litigation, arbitration and other dispute-related matters; Support communications and negotiations with regulatory authorities and relevant stakeholders; Assist with permits, filings and regulatory requirements; Participate in legal risk assessment and mitigation initiatives. Regional Collaboration Work closely with global legal colleagues, business leaders and external advisers; Support legal matters arising from regional and cross-border projects; Undertake additional legal responsibilities as required. The Successful Applicant Law degree and qualification to practice law in China; Minimum 5 years of legal experience in private practice or in-house environments; Strong experience in contract drafting, review and commercial negotiations; Knowledge of corporate, commercial, intellectual property or related legal areas; Fluency in both Mandarin and English; Ability to work independently within a fast-paced international environment; Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills; Prior experience with multinational companies or international law firms is advantageous; Interest in agriculture, life sciences, innovation, or technology-driven industries is preferred.
