Job Description

Investment Strategy & Portfolio Expansion

  • Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with the Group's long-term growth objectives.
  • Identify emerging sectors, disruptive technologies, and innovation-driven business models that can diversify and strengthen the Group's investment portfolio.
  • Assess financial attractiveness and potential value creation opportunities.



Deal Origination & Execution

  • Source investment, acquisition, and partnership opportunities globally.
  • Build and manage relationships with venture capital funds, private equity firms, entrepreneurs, technology companies, universities, and industry experts.
  • Lead end-to-end transaction execution.
  • Present recommendations to senior management and investment committees.



Portfolio Management & Value Creation

  • Support portfolio companies through board participation and strategic guidance where appropriate.
  • Identify commercial, technology, operational, and supply chain synergies between portfolio companies and the Group.
  • Monitor portfolio performance against established financial and strategic objectives.
  • Drive post-investment value creation initiatives and exit strategies.



Stakeholder Management

  • Partner closely with Group leadership, R&D, Strategy, and Business Unit heads.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on corporate development and strategic investment matters.
  • Represent the Group at industry conferences, investor forums, and technology ecosystem events.

The Successful Applicant

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • CFA or other relevant professional qualification is advantageous.



Professional Experience

  • 10-15 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or corporate investment.
  • Proven experience in investment transactions, M&A, or strategic partnerships.
  • Exposure to technology sectors such as semiconductors is highly desirable.
  • Experience working within multinational corporations or global investment platforms is preferred.
