Group Sr. QA Manager - Formula & Dairy Company in New Zealand

*Lead the qualification, approval, and periodic re-evaluation of all raw material suppliers and OEM manufacturers for all dairy categories.
*Develop and maintain a robust supplier and OEM quality management system, including risk assessment, documentation review, on-site audits, and quality agreements.
*Plan and execute supplier and contract manufacturer audits, including GMP, food safety, traceability, and regulatory compliance assessments.
*Oversee product release for all externally manufactured products and raw materials, ensuring they meet internal specifications and relevant regulatory standards (e.g., GB standards for China, Codex, EU, US FDA).
*Manage the resolution of quality incidents, including root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), and communication with internal stakeholders and external partners.
*Collaborate closely with Procurement, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams to ensure quality is embedded across the external supply chain.
*Maintain and monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs) for suppliers and OEMs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
*Ensure compliance with all relevant export market regulations, particularly for products exported to China, including SAMR registration and formula change controls for infant formula.
*Support business growth by qualifying new suppliers and OEMs as required for new product development or market expansion.
*Stay up to date with global regulatory changes and evolving quality practices in dairy and infant nutrition industries.
