Job Description Government & Industry Relations Develop and maintain strong relationships with government authorities and relevant regulatory bodies at national, provincial, municipal, and local levels. Monitor policy, regulatory, and industry developments and assess potential impacts on business operations. Provide strategic insights and recommendations on government policies, regulatory trends, and stakeholder expectations. Represent the company in interactions with government agencies, industry associations, and external stakeholders. Strategic Projects & Policy Advocacy Support the planning and execution of key business and investment projects, including stakeholder engagement and coordination with government authorities. Identify opportunities for policy support, funding programs, incentives, and public-private partnership initiatives. Facilitate collaboration between the company and government institutions to advance strategic business objectives. Public Affairs & Corporate Communications Partner with regional and global teams to develop and execute public affairs and corporate reputation strategies. Support brand-building, industry engagement, and thought leadership activities in the China market. Develop communication plans and stakeholder engagement programs that strengthen the company's external profile. Crisis & Issues Management Lead the assessment and management of public affairs risks and emerging issues. Coordinate cross-functional responses to government-related matters, public scrutiny, and reputation challenges. Develop proactive communication and stakeholder management strategies to protect corporate reputation. The Successful Applicant Experience Bachelor's degree or above in Public Policy, Law, Communications, Economics, Business, or a related discipline. 10+ years of experience in Government Affairs, Public Affairs, Corporate Affairs, Public Relations, or related functions. Strong understanding of China's government and regulatory landscape. Demonstrated experience engaging with government authorities, regulatory agencies, and industry organizations. Experience supporting investment projects, policy advocacy, or strategic stakeholder engagement programs is highly preferred. Skills Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and relationship-building capabilities. Excellent policy analysis and business judgment. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English. Proven ability to navigate complex and fast-changing environments. Experience managing sensitive issues and reputation-related situations. Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
