The business offers a highly international environment with close interaction with overseas stakeholders and a diverse supplier network. 职责描述 Lead engineering development activities from concept evaluation through production launch. Assess product manufacturability, engineering feasibility, compliance requirements, and development risks. Drive tooling development, supplier technical reviews, sample evaluations, and production readiness activities. Partner closely with product development, sourcing, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful execution. Review engineering samples, identify technical issues, and implement corrective actions to improve quality and performance. Manage product cost targets and support value engineering initiatives throughout the product lifecycle. Establish engineering practices and improve development efficiency, product quality, and speed to market. Build and develop a high-performing engineering organization through mentoring, coaching, and talent acquisition. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturing partners while serving as a key interface with overseas teams. Support multiple projects simultaneously and provide technical leadership throughout development programs. 理想的求职者 A successful Engineering Head should have: Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Product Engineering, Industrial Design, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline. 10+ years of engineering and product development experience within toys, consumer products, electronics, juvenile products, sporting goods, or related industries. Strong understanding of product engineering, tooling, plastics, manufacturing processes, and supplier development. Proven experience supporting engineering teams and managing complex cross-functional projects. Strong knowledge of DFM, DFMEA, product validation, tooling qualification, and mass production processes. Experience working with international stakeholders and global product development organizations. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management capabilities. Fluent English communication skills are highly preferred.
