Job Description Lead the integration of research findings pertaining to nuclear engineering & safety into evidence-based policy recommendations, strategic assessments and decision-support materials. Identify emerging trends, risks, opportunities and knowledge gaps through horizon scanning, strategic analysis and foresight activities. Oversee research on governance frameworks, regulation, safety, infrastructure planning, technology developments and stakeholder engagement. Direct scenario planning and long-term strategic studies to inform policy and national-level decision-making. Guide research on public perceptions and stakeholder sentiment, translating insights into effective policy and communications strategies. Provide thought leadership and ensure high-quality, impactful research outputs with strong policy relevance. Build, mentor and develop multidisciplinary teams, strengthening organisational capabilities and research excellence. Advise senior government and institutional stakeholders on strategic policy matters and complex research findings. Foster partnerships with local and international research institutions, industry experts and key stakeholders. Represent the organisation at high-level forums, conferences and strategic engagements. Contribute to thought leadership through publications, presentations and stakeholder outreach initiatives. The Successful Applicant Postgraduate qualification in Nuclear engineering, energy or a related discipline.
