Job Description

Commercial Ownership & Growth

  • Identify market opportunities, analyze competitors, and define growth strategies
  • Own product performance across revenue, margin, and overall P&L



Pricing & Channel Strategy

  • Lead D2C pricing decisions and ensure alignment across marketplace and retail
  • Build channel hierarchy to protect profitability



Campaign & Promotion Planning

  • Own seasonal campaigns: hero product selection, pricing strategy, bundles, and offers
  • Evaluate campaign ROI and optimize business impact



Portfolio & Product Strategy

  • Define product roles within portfolio and identify gaps or cannibalization risks
  • Collaborate with global teams on product launches and lifecycle management



Product Marketing & Conversion

  • Translate product features into clear customer benefits
  • Drive consistency across all channels



Growth Optimization (CRO)

  • Identify UX friction points and lead A/B testing initiatives
  • Build and execute a structured conversion optimization roadmap



Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing, supply chain, and operations on forecasting and inventory
  • Ensure business decisions are data-driven and actionable

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior BD Manager should have:

  • Proven expertise in the FMCG industry, particularly within business development and digital strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and identify growth opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain partnerships.
  • A results5+ years in e-commerce, retail, product, or category management
  • Strong analytical mindset combined with commercial judgment
  • Advanced Excel skills (mandatory)
  • Familiar with Google Analytics, Clarity, or similar tools
  • Deep understanding of key metrics: Revenue, Margin, AOV, Conversion, P&L
  • Experience in pricing strategy, business case building, and data modeling
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English



Nice to have:

  • Experience in D2C or cross-border e-commerce
  • Exposure to Python, statistical modeling, or A/B testing
