Business & Strategic Impact: Serve as a core member of the China leadership team, partnering closely with both local and global stakeholders to define and drive business and financial priorities. Play an active role in shaping growth initiatives, investment decisions, and operational improvements, while embedding financial perspectives into key business discussions across functions.
End-to-End Finance Ownership: Assume full responsibility for the overall finance function in China, covering planning, reporting, controls, and compliance in line with PRC GAAP and IFRS requirements. Stay close to day-to-day operations, ensuring effectiveness in execution while continuously enhancing processes, systems, and internal controls.
Operational Excellence & Transformation: Lead initiatives to strengthen financial visibility and efficiency through process improvements, digital tools, and disciplined risk management. Support the business in scaling sustainably with a strong focus on governance and performance quality.
People Leadership: Oversee and develop a sizeable finance team, building a collaborative and accountable environment while upgrading capabilities to support future business needs.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the key liaison between China and the broader organization, working closely with regional and global teams, as well as external partners, to ensure alignment, transparency, and regulatory compliance.

12+ years of progressive finance experience, with a proven track record in multinational industrial or manufacturing organizations; hands-on exposure to plant operations and production-driven environments is highly valued
Demonstrated capability to lead the full scope of finance activities, including financial reporting, planning and analysis, cost management, tax, treasury, and internal controls, within a manufacturing setup
A well-rounded finance professional who can balance strategic thinking with operational involvement, contributing to long-term business direction while remaining closely engaged in day-to-day execution
Strong business partnering skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across R&D, supply chain, manufacturing, and commercial functions to drive performance and support decision-making
Solid understanding of the China regulatory landscape, including key areas such as taxation, customs, and foreign exchange; professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent) are preferred
Fluent in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to work seamlessly in a global environment; strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and data analysis tools to support data-driven management
