Job Description * Collaborate with the selected manufacturing partner to finalize product development and release tooling. * Lead the validation and industrialization phase, ensuring the product meets technical and safety standards. * Spend approximately 70% of your time on-site at the manufacturing location to oversee the development process. * Execute CAD designs with precision, contributing to the detailed design of the company's flagship products. * Solve design challenges by using your problem-solving skills to meet technical specifications. * Provide insights to resolve test failures and ensure the product complies with UL standards. The Successful Applicant * Proficiency in reading and writing English. * Mechanical or design engineering background with a minimum of 5 years of experience (experience with laundry products or similar industries is a plus). * Advanced skills in SolidWorks for CAD design. * Expertise in Design for Manufacture & Assembly (DFMA) and Design Failure Modes & Effect Analysis (DFMEA). * Strong detail design skills to ensure tooling readiness and approval. * Ability to troubleshoot test failures and ensure robust product performance. * Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end product development process. * Commitment to spending significant time on-site to ensure successful project execution.
