The Route Development Manager (RDM) is responsible for driving growth on the specific trade assigned to the RDM. The individual will focus on developing the right focus across OFR products within the trade, including establishing product relevant value propositions and supporting Sales in closing business on the trade. The RDM is the focal point for sales in to the product on the trade and links Trade Management & the local sales organization.
Responsible to drive inland logistics business, including warehouse, intermodal (rail, barge & trucking), depot services and other value-added services through organic and inorganic growth. Responsible to achieve / exceed agreed sales targets and business objectives. To generate new business product category, for example intermodal solutions, project logistics solutions, etc.
Controlling and managing the D2C and B2B 3rd party Logistics Delivery Services(3PL services), with Sustainability, Quality, Safety, Process and Cost in line with company Business Objectives and drive with high level of service and optimal Cost through effective management of Logistics vendors. Support identification and prioritization of business activities across all operations functions.
