We are currently seeking a Loan Accountant to join the team.**This is a 8-10 month contractor role with high potential to extend. Job Description Support loan accounting and financial reporting activities, including reconciliations, month-end closing, journal entries, and preparation of reporting schedules. Assist in loan servicing operations, including billing preparation, repayment tracking, overdue monitoring, and other operational support activities. Prepare management reports and operational analysis to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting. Participate in system enhancement and digital transformation initiatives, including business requirement gathering, UAT testing, and process improvement projects. Support internal and external audits, data governance activities, and other ad hoc tasks as required. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in banking operations, loan administration, loan servicing, financial operations, financial reporting, fund accounting, or financial services audit. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel. Good written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience in system implementation, UAT testing, Power BI, Python, automation tools, or process improvement initiatives will be an advantage.
