We are seeking a results-oriented BD Manager (Southern China) to drive business growth within the industrial/manufacturing sector. Based in China you will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships and identifying new business opportunities.

Job Description

    • Manage and support Doona's current Chinese distributor to help achieve a step-change in the brand's position and sales in China.
    • Help develop the current sales channels in China to achieve meaningful and sustainable growth.
    • Identify new sales channels and onboard these channels in collaboration with the Distributor or separately.
    • Evaluate the performance of the distributor, including the setting and measurement of targets, and recommend whether this model and partnership should be continued or a new model should be preferred.
    • Ensure the distributer and retailers operate in line with the brand's positioning, pricing discipline, and customer service standards.
    • Operate independently with minimal support and guidance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful BD Manager (Southern China) should have:

    • 5-10 years of relevant sales / BD experience in China.
    • Direct experience with juvenile / baby / child-related products.
    • Hands-on experience in managing distributors, retailers and/or online-channels in China.
    • Fluent English + Mandarin.
    • Based in China (or immediately relocatable).
    • Proven ability to execute independently without teams or heavy infrastructure.
