Oversee design simulations, material selection, and testing protocols to meet industry standards (e.g., automotive AEC-Q100, industrial MIL-STD). Secure intellectual property through patent filings and maintain technical documentation for compliance and knowledge transfer. Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement in R&D processes. The Successful Applicant PhD or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field with 10+ years of R&D experience in MEMS inertial sensors. Proven track record of developing and commercializing gyroscopes, accelerometers, or IMUs, with deep understanding of sensor physics and fabrication processes. Experience managing R&D teams and collaborating with external partners (foundries, research institutes). Familiarity with semiconductor supply chains and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-experts.
