Job Description

KEY RESPOSIBILITIES

  • Manage tooling creation and tooling manufacturing manage time and quality within the assigned factory considerate of production source.
  • Consult and participate in Liaison Office Costing team in tooling costing process. Liable for submitting theoretical and verifying cycle time for outsole.
  • Shorten tooling creation and manufacturing manage time with the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and forecasting & planning tools.
  • Implement tooling data security, monitor and maintain tooling data security throughout all Tier1 and Tier2 facilities at factor(ies) of assignment.
  • Ensure Tier1 tooling data is updated and available in the regional tooling data management system.
  • Implement tooling creation & tooling manufacturing technologies.
  • Grow full of all tooling supplier capabilities in Vietnam and China.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

TOOLING MANAGEMENT

  • Develop in teamwork with Industrial Engineer, Tier1, Tier2, Liaison Office and Machinery Vendors manufacturing technologies and processes that improve manufacturing efficiency and consistency. (E.g., Assembly processes, bonding systems, stitching automation, etc.)
  • Implement new manufacturing technologies at Tier1 and Tier2 through completion of research, practice documentation and successful completion of pilot trials.
  • Advise Brand, Tier1 & Tier2 team on technical and tooling related issues.
  • Assist Regional PCT & Tooling, Asia on PCT documents creation, implement and provide operations feedback to enhance the practices, policies, guideline, standards effectives.
  • Ensure all sourcing operations and practices fully comply with Responsible Sourcing & Purchasing Policy, standards and legal requirements, while managing the relevant processes internally and externally.
  • Role model management to foster a culture of Diversity Equity & Inclusion that strives for an workplace.

  • Global Sourcing: PCT, E&MI
  • Headquarter HQ Technical Teams (Tooling), HQ PJMs
  • Product Operations
  • External stakeholders: Sourcing suppliers mold shops, component suppliers ect.

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong technical knowledge of tooling design, engineering and manufacturing, CAD & CAM. RT and RP are a plus.
  • Good technical footwear knowledge of product construction and manufacturing methods.
  • Good knowledge in lean manufacturing process automation
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, influencing and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken)
  • Strong MS Office Skills
  • Strong management skills and ability to work in multidimensional teams.

What's on Offer

  • Annual salary ranging from CNY 400000 to CNY 550000.
  • 13 months' salary as part of the package.
