Job Description Supplier Selection & Audit: Conduct QSA/QPA audits to evaluate potential suppliers' quality systems, process capabilities, and production readiness for mechanical and electronic components. New Product Introduction (NPI): Lead APQP activities, including PFMEA reviews, Control Plan validation, MSA, SPC, and FAI to ensure smooth transition from prototype to mass production. On-Site Quality Management: Station at supplier sites during critical build phases (approx. 3-month cycles) to monitor production lines, enforce quality standards, and ensure on-time delivery compliance. Issue Resolution: Drive root cause analysis and CAPA/8D reports for incoming, process, or field quality issues; verify effectiveness of corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Performance Monitoring: Track supplier KPIs (DPPM, OTD, responsiveness) and implement tiered management strategies to drive continuous improvement and cost reduction. Technical Review: Collaborate with engineering teams to review drawings, tolerances, and specifications, ensuring design for manufacturability (DFM) and inspectability. The Successful Applicant Experience: 5-8 years of hands-on Supplier Quality or Manufacturing Quality experience, preferably in Data Center, Liquid Cooling, PDU, Rack, or EMS industries. Technical Skills: Proficient in ISO 9001 and core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D); able to read complex mechanical/electrical drawings. Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of solving field issues and driving supplier improvements using data-driven methods. Adaptability: Willingness to travel frequently and stay on-site at supplier factories; thrives in a fast-paced, flexible startup environment. Communication: Fluent in written and spoken English (Mandarin native); capable of communicating technical quality standards clearly to diverse stakeholders. Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
