Job Description Develop electronic architectures, schematics, and PCB designs for robotic systems. Improve existing hardware designs to enhance functionality, manufacturability, and cost efficiency. Evaluate alternative components and subsystems while maintaining product quality and performance. Create and maintain technical documentation throughout the product development process. Conduct part derating studies, worst-case reviews, and thermal evaluations. Participate in DFMEA and System FMEA activities and contribute to risk mitigation efforts. Investigate and resolve hardware-related issues during prototype, pilot build, and production phases. Perform board-level and system-level bring-up, debugging, and rework activities. Execute functional, reliability, EMC, ESD, and production validation testing. Partner with manufacturing teams to improve DFM/DFT practices and new product introduction activities. Work with firmware, software, mechanical, sourcing, quality, and project teams to deliver product goals. The Successful Applicant Requirements Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related discipline. 5+ years of experience in embedded electronics development. Background in robotics, industrial automation, AGV/AMR, automotive, aerospace, or similar industries. Experience in analog and digital electronics design. Familiarity with embedded processors, microcontrollers, power electronics, and mixed-signal systems. Experience with: Power supply design Mixed-signal electronics Part derating studies Worst-case calculations DFMEA/System FMEA Thermal margin evaluation Reliability verification activities Proficiency in PCB design and schematic tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCad. Hands-on debugging experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other electronic testing equipment. Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to high-speed electronic design and/or RF design. Familiarity with DFM/DFT methodologies and manufacturing test planning. Knowledge of industrial safety standards and regulatory requirements. Experience with Design-to-Cost or VAVE initiatives. Comfortable communicating within an international working environment.
