Job Description Managing supplier sourcing, development and qualification activities for rubber, plastic and nonwoven material categories across China and Southeast Asia. Conducting market research, supplier identification and preliminary supplier evaluation activities. Executing end-to-end procurement processes including demand consolidation, RFQ/RFP issuance, quotation analysis, commercial negotiation, contract management and order follow-up. Planning supplier audits covering quality management systems, manufacturing capability, social responsibility compliance, environmental compliance and supplier risk assessment. Monitoring supplier corrective action implementation and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Performing cost analysis, should-cost model development and market benchmarking exercises to ensure competitive purchasing costs and commercial terms. Managing supplier performance across quality, delivery, cost and service metrics. Collaborating closely with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing and Finance teams to align sourcing strategies with business requirements. Monitoring market trends, supply risks and regulatory developments within the rubber, plastics and nonwoven industries and proactively developing mitigation plans. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree or above, preferably with a technical, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain or commercial background. Strong business English communication skills with the ability to work effectively in an international environment. Proven experience in strategic sourcing and category management. Strong expertise in supplier relationship management, commercial negotiations, supplier risk assessment and cost analysis. Demonstrated stakeholder management capability with the ability to build effective cross-functional partnerships. Good understanding of contractual and legal concepts related to procurement activities. Experience managing sourcing projects across Southeast Asia and supporting global procurement initiatives. Prior experience within rubber products, plastic products or nonwoven material categories is highly preferred. Experience in multinational manufacturing organisations or OEM environments will be advantageous. What's on Offer Annual performance bonus equivalent to approximately 2-3 months' salary.
